Kura Sushi USA, Inc., a trailblazing leader in technology-driven eater-tainment experiences and authentic Japanese cuisine, has announced its latest Bikkura Pon collaboration with legendary anime studio Toei Animation for the globally renowned episodic series “One Piece” which is now celebrating its 25th Anniversary. From Aug. 2 through Sept. 30, 2024, this partnership invites diners on a grand adventure with exclusive One Piece Bikkura Pon prizes, merch and décor available at all Kura Revolving Sushi Bar locations nationwide.

For those craving to bring a piece of the treasure home, the prize collection features a vibrant assortment of can badges and charm accessories adorned with members of the Straw Hat Crew. Starting Sept. 1, 2024, prize figurines of Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Sanji will also become available while supplies last. The rare Luffy Gear 5 Figurine with a pearl ink coating on a golden sushi plate will be available in limited quantities to lucky diners and not for individual purchase.
Guests can drink up the experience with a One Piece x Kura Sushi Bottle with straw cover available for purchase at $16.00, starting Aug. 2, 2024, and indulge in free soft drink refills with their One Piece x Kura Sushi Bottle through Sept. 30, 2024. Further, guests can taste the epic-ness of Gum-Gum Fruit Ice Cream Monaka, Luffy’s Jumbo Spicy Roast Beef Nigiri and Luffy’s Jumbo Spicy Roast Beef Roll, limited time menu offerings inspired by the series available in-restaurant only while supplies last. Kura Sushi is set to enhance its dining experience by integrating the charm of “One Piece” with the interactive, technology-driven environment of Kura Revolving Sushi Bars inclusive of Luffy’s iconic straw hat atop Mr. Fresh, Kura Sushi’s patented sushi lid that is embedded with a data-collecting hardware that provides information to ensure the items on the belt are always fresh and regularly replenished.
Adding to the excitement, Kura Sushi Rewards Members are eligible to receive a One Piece x Kura Sushi Cooling Towel with case from Aug. 2-8, 2024, for every $80 spent in-restaurant (excluding taxes, tips and coupons), while supplies last. Availability is limited and not guaranteed, and in-store giveaway dates are subject to change.
Central to the dining experience, Kura Sushi’s proprietary Bikkura Pon Prize System offers guests a surprise with every visit. For every 15 sushi plates enjoyed, diners will earn a prize from the “One Piece” collection. This reward system is deeply integrated into the restaurant’s technology-driven dining concept. As guests savor their sushi, they can insert the empty plates into a disposal slot at their table. Once the 15-plate milestone is reached, the Bikkura Pon system automatically dispenses a random prize, adding an element of anticipation and joy to the meal. All prizes are available for individual purchase except for the rare figurine, available exclusively through the prize system.
Keeping with Kura Sushi’s commitment to environmental sustainability, all Bikkura Pon prizes will be housed in ecopon capsules, the world's first plastic-free, biodegradable and recyclable paper capsules, made from starch and paper developed by K2 Station Co., Ltd., Rengo Co. Ltd., and Daiho Industrial Co., Ltd.
