Kura Sushi USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: KRUS) is teaming up with Nintendo of America to bring iconic characters from the Kirby gaming series to its restaurants in a playful and immersive collaboration this winter. From December 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026, while supplies last, guests will discover an experience that blends Kura Sushi’s signature fun with Kirby’s colorful charm.
At the heart of the collaboration is Kura Sushi’s Bikkura Pon prize system, which will feature Kirby themed capsule prizes including a cable band, microfiber cloth, and acrylic charm with pedestal.
In addition to capsule prizes, Kura Sushi will treat fans to two exclusive giveaways for guests who spend $85 or more. Beginning December 17, guests can take home a limited-edition Kirby themed three-piece cup set, followed in January by a cozy Kirby themed blanket launching on January 14, while supplies last.
For those who prefer to extend the fun digitally, Kura Sushi will host Instagram giveaways throughout the campaign, with prizes ranging from a Nintendo Switch 2 system paired with a download code for the digital version of the Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World game to a prize bundle featuring the Kirby themed blanket, cup set, and a rare collectible.
Food lovers can also look forward to the introduction of two Kirby-inspired menu items, designed to highlight the playful spirit of the franchise while staying true to Kura Sushi’s dedication to authentic Japanese flavors. Meanwhile, the restaurants themselves will transform into a dreamy wonderland, featuring themed décor such as a Mr. Fresh cover with Kirby’s face, festive noren curtains, and wall art that captures Kirby’s cheerful personality.
